Refund & Returns Policy – Adivasi Trove

1. Overview
We at Adivasi Trove strive to ensure you are fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may request a return or refund as outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

  • Returns must be requested within 7 days of receiving the product (or within other timeframe as per law).
  • The product must be unused, in original condition, with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact.
  • For sanitary / consumable / perishable goods (e.g. herbal items, incense, food-related items), returns are generally not accepted, unless the product is defective or damaged.
  • Products that are custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order may not be eligible for return (unless defective).

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us within the return window via email: support@adivasitrove.com (or via phone)
  2. Provide your order number, item(s) to be returned, reason for return, and photos if applicable (e.g. defect).
  3. We will review and approve or reject within 2 business days.
  4. If approved, you will receive instructions on how and where to send the item.
  5. You (customer) typically bear the return shipping cost, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective, damaged in transit).

4. Condition of Returned Items & Inspection

  • On receipt, we will inspect the returned item(s).
  • If the item fails inspection (e.g. used, damaged, missing components), we may refuse refund or provide partial refund.
  • Refund processing can take up to 7–10 business days after we accept the return.

5. Refund Method

  • Refunds are typically issued via the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, bank transfer).
  • In some cases, we may offer store credit or exchange, at our discretion.

6. Exchanges

  • If you wish to exchange an item (size, color, variant), treat it like a return of the first item plus a new order for the replacement.
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.

7. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping cost is non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
  • Return shipping cost is borne by the customer (unless otherwise agreed).

8. Damaged / Defective Items

  • If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos.
  • After verification, we will refund or replace the item (including shipping costs in such cases).

9. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be canceled before they are shipped. Once shipped, the regular return policy applies.
  • To cancel, contact us immediately; we will advise status.
